I know it's a lot, and the Glock 19 is #1 in the US, but a light, thin, full size 9mm concealable Glock 17 Gen 4 feels good with the back, covertail included, and NATO FMJs they are good practice, not junk. High pressure for convenient practice. I usually use a NATO 239 grain .45 acp Glock 21 model, but this is my second favorite. I haven't tried the Gen 5 yet, and I'm generally more comfortable with Gen 4 duty size Glocks. A better cleaning kit might help with any FTE or erratic output issues.

Great on the rifle range and used during tax ops. Highly recommend this rifle for the new or experienced shooter.

Due to the design angle and size, the box is comfortable and smooth to hold well. It is worth noting that balancing speed is critical to speed in order to hit a target quickly. As a duty weapon, it is easy not to get tired of carrying a heavy gun all day. Accuracy at range or during tactics is excellent. Shooting right or left handed is not a problem as it is well balanced. Accurate shooting or rapid fire is something I still don't have a problem with. Bottom line - I recommend this gun for home defense, duty, and even competition shooting.
