This is one of the best 9mm pistols. I know there are many, and the Glock 19 is #1 in the US, but the light, thin, nimble 9mm Glock 17 Gen 4 feels great with the whole thing, including the beaver tail, because NATO FMJs are good practice, not nonsense. . High pressure for affordable practice ammunition. I usually use NATO 239gn .45 acp Glock 21 models but this is my second favorite. Haven't tried Gen 5 yet and I'm generally more comfortable with Glocks Gen 4. Better rollback can help with any FTE issues or intermittent blowout.

I bought my G17, Gen4 to have a 9mm single action for range use. I used to shoot double action .40 calibers. The lightness and shooting feel are excellent. The kit includes straps of different sizes, which is a definite plus. I installed the Ultimate Pyramid Flat Face trigger, extended slide release and optical assemblies. However, it shoots very well right out of the box. All in all, I have about $900 for this gun and I feel it is well worth it given my preference. Fits well in the hand, accurate, minimal deflection, clear trigger break and fast recovery, good balance and reliability. The pattern from the holster is even, but not too big for camouflage. Great for shooting and used during tactical operations. I highly recommend this shotgun to beginners and experienced shooters alike.

I've had a Glock 17 Gen4 for a few years now and I think it's one of the best 9mm pistols on the market today. I installed the Final Pyramid trigger and fiber optic sights. These options simply increase the capabilities of this pistol. In addition, the large back strap and cabbage tail provide a good feel and comfort. Due to the angle and size of the structure, good traction grip is comfortable and smooth. Needless to say, this is critical to the speed of sight alignment for a quick shot at a target. As a service firearm, it's light, so you won't get tired of carrying heavy weapons all day. Accuracy is excellent in long range or tactical mode. Shooting with the right or left hand is not a problem as it is well balanced. Whether it's accurate shots or rate of fire, I haven't had to deal with malfunctions yet. The bottom line is that I highly recommend this gun for self defense, service or even sport shooting.

I have a second generation G17. He never missed. I switched to a newer mag. The original magazines are starting to crack. I replaced the springs and replaced the connector. I fired probably 3,000 rounds through it and would bet my life on it. Now I have 5 Glocks and have had no problems with any of them.
